This is why we can't have nice things. You guys have take everything out of the realm of being fun. Use a programmable Macro pad as your controller, and spend hours learning how to exploit background mechanics or your simply not competitive. It's super wack that you can't just play the game.

Just imagine having characters you play with being more original than the original B moves setup because of custom B moves setting? .... This is why Smash IV will always be mi favorite out of all Smash, including Ultimate. I put the most effort with every character in this version.

If anything on here mastered shield dropping in Smash IV, could somebody confirm for mi rather or not is possible in Smash Ultimate? I've Googled it for myself, & they mentioned that it can't be done. But the source of that info came from Wiki itself. & I'm sure most of y'all are aware that anything from Wikipedia is top tier untrustworthy.

I know this video is outdated but that property at 3:52 applies to smash 4 Ganondorf's down throw as well. It allows him to follow up with options that are normally impossible such as jab, forward tilt, down smash and down air. (unless they di in.... maybe).

Instant Ledge Trump + the Bidou Fast Fall still work in Attack Bidou in Ult + Instant Run from Walk + some of the other not useful ones.

i think that unfair luck based mechanics should be reserved for "uncompetitive" options, like game and watch side b in melee. if you want to play optimally you should never use the move, and you will be punished just for using it around 80% of the time. As the game and watch player you can choose whether or not you want to use an objectively terrible move in exchange for a small chance at a 1 hit ko, and because the move is so terrible side b rng isnt usually a determining factor in the outcome of a match.

I wish they had never patched this out, it was one of the funniest glitches I’ve ever seen

Since I don’t use Zelda I rather keep my GameCube controls and not use the cstick, the only input it matters for is side b and down special as normal specials already can be reversed. And since I don’t use always forward facing fighters You could just turn around and reverse special your side b and down b with a down back angle for the same effdct
